Matthew Short is a 25-year-old right-handed batsman from Victoria, Australia. He has represented his state in domestic cricket and played for the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League. Short has been signed by the Punjab Kings as a replacement for the injured Australian all-rounder Jhye Richardson got ruled out of the tournament due to a shoulder injury.
The Punjab Kings will be looking to improve on their performance from the last season.
