Ashton Agar: The all-rounder who has it all

Ashton Agar is one of the most exciting all-rounders in world cricket today. The left-arm spinner and left-handed batsman has made a name for himself with his match-winning performances in all three formats of the game.

Agar burst onto the scene in 2013 when he made his Test debut for Australia against England at Trent Bridge. He became the youngest Australian to score a century on debut, and also took the wicket of England captain Alastair Cook with his very first ball.

However, Agar struggled to maintain his early success, and was dropped from the Test team after just two matches. He spent the next few years playing domestic cricket and developing his game.

Agar made his comeback to the Test team in 2017, and has since become a regular member of the side. He has played 23 Test matches for Australia, scoring 1,100 runs at an average of 38.71, and taking 62 wickets at an average of 31.11.

Agar has also been a successful player in ODI and T20I cricket. He has played 52 ODIs for Australia, scoring 800 runs at an average of 26.67, and taking 100 wickets at an average of 29.09. He has also played 43 T20Is for Australia, scoring 400 runs at an average of 26.67, and taking 35 wickets at an average of 25.71.

Agar is a versatile batsman who can bat at any position in the order. He is a powerful hitter, and is also good at rotating the strike. He is a skilled spinner, and his bowling is difficult to read. He is also a good fielder, and is known for his athleticism.

Agar is still only 28 years old, and he has the potential to become one of the greatest all-rounders in Australian cricket history. He is a key player for Australia in all three formats of the game, and he will be looking to play a leading role in the team's success in the years to come.
